NTS (Nova Transportadora do Sudeste) and UniBP (Universidade do setor do Petróleo, Gás e Biocombustíveis) will start, in June, the classes of their qualification program in natural gas transportation, developed in a partnership between the two entities.

In a 12 month period, 80 NTS professionals will be qualified, including pipeline and station technicians and operators. Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, the classes were adapted and will be remote.

The program will have over 1,400 class hours and its content will address over 60 topics, covering chemistry, physics, basic theory for study of the flow of ducts, industrial pipes etc.

“We are privileged to be able to invest, even in a time of uncertainty, in the formation of our employees. Promoting the enhancement of knowledge to those who will work in the company is aligned to two of our principles: search for excellence and caring for people”, says Carla Diniz, NTS’ director of people and management.

With its own teaching methodology, UniBP will be responsible for the management and logistics of the trainments. All UniBP content is based in the best national and international practices in the market and establishes a map of competencies for different profiles within the sector.

“UniBP is responsible for the educational management of the NTS formation program, which means that we are involved in the whole process of capacitation of the employees that will attend the courses at the program. We have coordinated the elaboration of educational projects for each course, customizing them in accordance to the competencies that need to be developed by each specific job, and also determining how the participants will be evaluated”, complements Karen Cubas, UniBP’s manager.
