NTS Operations Management launches real-time pipeline simulation system
The NTS Operations Management started the implementation of the real-time pipeline simulation system, called Real Time Transient Model (RTTM).
In June, NTS' Operations Management began an important project: the implementation of a real-time pipeline simulation system, known as the Real Time Transient Model (RTTM). This technological initiative is considered the main one of the year in terms of operational management.
A real-time model integrated into the SCADA system offers agility and precision in logistical, operational and contingency decision-making. Developed in partnership with Atmos International, the project will be led by Planning and Programming Engineer Renata Reis, Planning and Programming Coordinator Caroline Reis and Operations Manager Eduardo Merçon and will be applied to the NTS gas transmission network in 2024.
